{"id":14,"date":"2014-06-16T18:48:54","date_gmt":"2014-06-16T18:48:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/zacklischerkatz.com\/?page_id=14"},"modified":"2025-11-21T20:11:30","modified_gmt":"2025-11-21T20:11:30","slug":"cvbio","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/zacklischerkatz.com\/?page_id=14","title":{"rendered":"CV\/Bio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><strong>Since Fall 2020, I&#8217;ve held the position of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ischool.arizona.edu\/people\/zack-lischer-katz\">Assistant Professor in Digital Curation and Preservation<\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ischool.arizona.edu\/\">University of Arizona&#8217;s iSchool.<\/a>\u00a0Previously,\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><strong>I was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Oklahoma Libraries (2016-2020), where I was a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/clir.org\/fellowships\/postdoc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) Postdoctoral Fellow<\/a>\u00a0from 2016-2018.\u00a0<\/strong><strong>I completed my PhD in Communication, Information, &amp; Library Studies at Rutgers University,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/comminfo.rutgers.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">School of Communication &amp; Information<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><strong>I study\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/OULibraries\/edge\/wiki\/OVAL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">how to use virtual reality technologies for scholarship and teaching<\/a>, and in particular, how to curate and archive virtual reality technology and 3D research data.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>My dissertation, &#8220;The Construction of Preservation Knowledge in the Artisanal Digital Reformatting of Analog Video Recordings,&#8221;
