  • Presentation: “Languages of Visual Remediation,” July 20 at the Society for the History of Authorship, Reading & Publishing Annual Conference in Paris

    Saturation_PostOn July 20th I will be presenting a paper entitled “Languages of Visual Remediation: ‘Translating’ Codified Knowledge through Digitization Guidelines for Visual Materials”  at the Society for the History of Authorship, Reading & Publishing (SHARP) annual conference. I will be presenting on a panel entitled “Languages of Access: Texts/Images/Discourse,” with Rutgers, School of Communication & Information alumnae, Emily Knox (Graduate School of Library and Information Science, UIllinois) and Ellen Pozzi (William Paterson University). This year the SHARP conference will be held at the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BNF) and at the nearby Bibliothèque universitaire des langues et civilisations (BULAC) in Paris, France from July 18-22, 2016.
